| FEATURE FACTORY SOLD MY STORY |
|
PAUL CLAMPETT:
I wanted to sell my story to a newspaper but didn't know where to start but chose Feature Factory after seeing their website on line. They called me back straight away and were really helpful. I'd never done anything like it before so it was all a bit surreal, but Feature Factory explained what was happening every step of the way and although it was surreal, I loved it. Within a week my story appeared in the News of the World and the Daily Star Sunday. Seeing myself, and my story, in black and white was amazing. After I was in the papers, they arranged for me to appear on This Morning and I was overwhelmed to meet Phil and Holly on the This morning sofa. I'd definitely recommend selling your story through Feature Factory. It's been an amazing experience, I've loved it!
CHLOE HENNISON:
“Feature Factory were very sympathetic and tactful when interviewing me and writing my story. I was apprehensive to start with but found them to be very trustworthy. No doubt I will be working with them in the near future again!” Chloe's story about her DIY sex change was published in Closer and Chat last year and when she was reunited with her daughter Feature Factory helped her sell follow-up stories to both magazines again plus the Sunday Mirror. She has also starred in two Japanese documentaries and relived her ordeal on UK TV for ITV's This Morning show (please see picture). Click here to view Chloe's story on the mirror.co.uk website
NIKKI JARVIS:
“I was nervous about the interview because my story was quite embarrassing but the journalist at Feature Factory put me at ease straight away and it was like talking to an old friend in the end. My story looked great in the magazine and it was in my own words, just as I'd been promised.”
Nikki's story "I broke my boyfriend's willy - but he broke my heart" featured in Closer magazine in January 2010.
DAPHNE THOMPSON:
“I would recommend Feature Factory to anyone who wants to tell their story - it was dealt with sensitively from start to finish and I was kept informed throughout the process. I hope my story has helped other women who are suffering, or have suffered, from domestic abuse.” Daphne's story about being "boiled alive by ex" appeared in Love It! magazine in 2009.
ANDREIA MAIA:
“Feature Factory were great! I didn't know how to go about getting my story into a national publication but with their contacts and knowledge of the industry it was printed in a leading women's magazine and I received a good fee. They helped me step-by-step and made the whole experience very easy.” Andreia told us about how her dad shot her after the breakdown of his marriage and appeared in Full House magazine in January 2010.
ALICE AIRD:
“The journalist who interviewed me was very professional and easy to talk to. She found me a great deal with a national newspaper really quickly and when we saw it on the shelf in the shop there weren't any nasty surprises!”. Alice shared her incredible story about escaping from the 2004 Thailand Tsunami whilst pregnant with twins and it was printed in The Sun on the fifth anniversary in December 2009.
EMILY WALLIS:
“I really enjoyed sharing my story with Feature Factory. They were very understanding about my reservations and were always available whenever I had any questions. They helped me sell my story to a newspaper, two magazines and two documentary companies.” Emily was reunited with her long lost dad - who was living as a woman - and their story featured in the Sunday Mirror, Closer and Chat. They were also filmed by two Japanese TV companies. The footage was aired in March 2010.
LUCY GOLDSMITH:
“After what I'd been through it was hard opening up but they made it so easy and I actually felt better for it in the end. I'd been attacked and left with horrific injuries which I was revealing for the first time but the Feature Factory journalist was really supportive and even came with me for support when I had to face my attacker again in court. I was really proud to see my story in the News of the World twice as well as in Reveal and Real People and even better, I used the money me to put myself through hairdressing college.” http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/news/52462/BURNS-VICTIM-I-FELT-MY-HEAD-ON-FIRE.html |
